Big Fish Online Games has announced that Faunasphere finds itself in closed beta and it should go live soon. Faunasphere is a browser-based MMO where players will adopt and take good care of a bunch of “cute” creatures called Fauna. Players will have to work together in order to build or even explore virtual worlds, but they will need Fauna for that. The MMO was developed by the lead designer of the “Asheron’s Call” and the good/bad thing about the game is that it’s based on a non-violent gameplay.

Andy Murray is off to face Andy Roddick in the 1st match and French Open Champion will go against Tommy Haas in the 2nd match of the semifinals.

Meanwhile, in the ladies Singke, Venus Williams will face Dinara Safina in the upper bracket while Venus younger sister Serena Williams will be facing Elena Dementieva in the lower bracket.

We are close to final in Wimbledon in 2009, and it looks like your favorite players in the women’s tennis this year to go one step further in the tournament are sisters Venus and Serena Williams.

Twoogle is a tool which allows users to search a term on both Google and Twitter, and it will display the results in split-screen format.

Although the design is questionable, you won’t have any problems if you are in front of a large widescreen monitor. The duplex search tool will display Twitter search results on the left, and the Google search results on the right. Twoogle will also allow you to search only Twitter, or only Google if you’d like that or if you already found what you were looking for.

The 16-year-old red hair Allison Iraheta has been eliminated from American Idol after being put on the bottom two with Danny Gokey. There are 64 million votes were cast the night before May 5.

Allison for one last time sing her rendition of Janis Joplin’s “Cry Baby”. She hugged Paula Abdul and the rest after her performance. The American Idol Top 3 now is composed of Adam Lambert, Danny Gokey and Kris Allen.

The Top 3 will battle it out next week with two songs each. One song will be picked by the judges while another one is left for the contestant to choose.

Human Giant includes Scheer and other comedians Rob Huebel and Aziz Ansari along with director Jason Woliner, came together like most sketch-comedy teams: Scheer, a commentator on the VH1 pop-culture news series Best Week Ever, and Huebel, recognizable from the Inconsiderate Cell-Phone Man movie-theater commercials, had known each other from years of toiling on New York City’s comedy scene.

Continental Plane Crashes in Buffalo Killed 49

A Continental flight from Newark to Buffalo crashed into a house and killed 49 people. All 44 passengers and 4 crews plus one on the ground were killed. The Continental Connection Flight 3407, crashed about 10:20, five minutes before it was due to land.

Witnesses heard the twin turboprop aircraft sputtering before it went down in light snow and fog. The 74-seat Q400 Bombardier aircraft was carrying 5,000 pounds of fuel and apparently exploded on impact, Erie County Executive Chris Collins said.

Firefighters got as close to the plane as they could, he said. “They were shouting out to see if there were any survivors on the plane. Truly a very heroic effort, but there were no survivors.”
